Bournemouth is only 12 miles along the coast with beautiful sandy beaches, excellent nightlife and a huge selection of high street shops. Southampton is approximately 16 miles in the opposite direction and boasts a brand new shopping centre, cinema complex and ferry services to France and the Isle of Wight. THE NEW FOREST is a huge area of beautiful maintained open woodland and heathland where livestock including ponies, cattle, donkeys, small numbers of pigs, and sometimes sheep, are turned out to graze each year.
